Cancellation & Refund

Important Notice Regarding Refunds and Cancellations

Your guide to understanding our policies and the role of airlines

Our Role as a Travel Provider

Spectrum Travels operates as a travel solutions provider. It's important to understand that we do not have the final authority over flight ticket cancellations or refunds. These decisions are made by the individual airlines, and we strictly adhere to their rules and processes.

Refund and Cancellation Policies

Below are the key points you need to know:

  • The majority of tickets sold through our platform are non-refundable, depending on airline policy. Some tickets are refundable if allowed by the airline.
  • Refund requests for cancellations must be submitted within 24 hours of booking to qualify, if applicable.
  • We do not guarantee the success of refund or cancellation requests. Approval is solely up to the airline.
  • Approved refunds may be issued as travel credit, which can be used for future bookings.
  • When using travel credit, any fare differences or change fees must be paid by the passenger.
  • We only charge fees for flight bookings. No additional guarantees are included.
  • Passengers who cancel but do not board can request trip protection refunds within 10 days of purchase, if applicable.
  • Airline decisions regarding cancellations and refunds are final. Spectrum Travels is not liable for those outcomes.
  • Some airlines offer refunds or credits even for "No Show" passengers, depending on their policy.
  • There is no guaranteed timeframe for refund processing. Requests are handled in order and passed to airlines for review.
  • You'll receive an email with confirmation and a reference number once your cancellation request is logged.
  • Submitting a cancellation request does not ensure an immediate refund.
  • Service fees charged at booking are always non-refundable.
  • Refund processing typically takes 60 to 90 days once submitted to the airline.
  • Approved refunds are usually returned to the original payment method, unless the airline chooses to issue travel credit.
  • Penalties may apply if refund requests violate airline policies. Spectrum Travels service fees are also retained and vary by ticket and passenger count.
  • If the airline rejects a refund, we may refund part of our service fee. However, booking fees are deducted from any refund issued.
  • All procedures strictly follow the airline rules related to the specific ticket. We cannot override or change these rules.
